This Asiago Cheese meaning pressed cheese is a 100% Cow Milk Aged Cheese from the high reaches of the mountains of Himachal. It is made from Desi Himachali Cow Milk. It can assume different textures according to its aging, from smooth for the fresh Asiago to a crumbly texture for the aged Asiago cheese. The aged Asiago cheese is often grated in salads, soups, pastas, and sauces while the fresh Asiago which is softer is sliced to prepare sandwiches, etc. & it can also be melted on a variety of dishes.
